WEATHER ALERT: DANGEROUS HEAT

Temperatures quickly turn around from mild & pleasant to hot & humid as we begin this week. Highs today will climb into the low 90s inland, but you may find respite in temps around 80 on the coastline. Light wind and a bright, sunny sky won’t make it feel any cooler either!

Tuesday we are on a weather alert as the heat gets turned up another notch. While the morning may begin comfortable, the afternoon will see temps soar into the 95-99 range! This includes coastlines thanks to a westerly wind. Feels-like temps will top off in the 100-103 range.

While we cool a little bit on Wednesday, remain on alert as temps remain in the 90s. It will feel like 97-100 degrees during the afternoon. There is a very low chance for a storm, but the threat for rain increases more on Thursday.

COLD FRONT BRINGS RAIN & RELIEF

Thursday is going to be a dominantly cloudy day. However, it will come with a major cool down as a northerly wind pushes highs back into the 70s! Expect rain for at least part of the day however.

Friday through Sunday look like excellent days as we round off the week. Humidity drops, the sun returns, and highs remain closer to Labor Day averages in the upper 70s. Make some outdoor plans on these days and enjoy the nice weather!
