Boston 25 Weather

A break from the rain

NOW PLAYING ABOVE

A LITTLE WARM UP TODAY

After a chilly soaker yesterday, it’s nice to be on track for highs in the 50s today. Patchy fog will burn off by 8 AM, leaving us partly sunny for the rest of the day. Southeastern MA will be brightest this afternoon. Clouds will increase north and west of Boston with the chance for an isolated sprinkle. Nearly all communities will be dry.

SOME WET WEATHER WEDENSDAY

A storm will track off shore early Wednesday. Most of the precipitation will miss us, but morning showers may clip southeastern MA, the Cape and Islands in particular. There may even be a little mix with snow during the morning commute, but it will be too mild for any accumulation.

A cold front will come through in the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and a few hit or miss showers across southern New England. Keep in mind, most of the time it will be dry in any one town or city.

WEEKEND IN VIEW

A front will stall over the region this weekend, fueling clouds and showers at times. The focus of that rain will be determined by the position of the front-stay tuned for those details.

Unfortunately, it looks like clouds will probably block the local view of the partial solar eclipse at sunrise Saturday.
