FRIDAY ECLIPSE

Overnight, a Total Lunar Eclipse and Blood Worm Moon can be seen in the early morning hours. Totality is basically 2:30 am to 3:30 am. Clouds may be a problem the farther southeast you go in the state. If you’re planning to catch the celestial show, the skies should cooperate to the northwest, making for a decent viewing experience!

On Friday, we’ll see morning clouds give way to sunshine with temperatures climbing a bit higher into the mid 50s, coolest at the south-facing coast.

WARMER WEEKEND

The warming trend continues into the weekend, with highs reaching the 60s Sunday, which should make for pleasant weather to enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day parade in South Boston. A quick shower would be the worst you’ll see during the day.

Be prepared for a change in the weather Sunday night. A storm system will be moving in, bringing heavier rain and gusty winds Monday morning. The rain will move out in the evening, but it’ll be a soaker!
