Feeling like Spring

ANOTHER WARM UP

What a day! After a cool start in the 30s and lower 40s, sunshine will rule with highs near 60 degrees in the Boston area this afternoon. Enjoy!

ZIP TRIP FRIDAY

Our first Zip Trip of the season will be in Lexington from 7–10 am Friday. Dress in layers—it’ll be a cool start to the day with temperatures in the lower 40s at first. The afternoon will carry highs into the mid and even upper 60s. Clouds will increase, but the forecast looks to stay dry in most towns. I can’t rule out an isolated shower far north in the afternoon or evening, but coverage will be sparse.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Saturday is shaping up to be the warmest day of 2025 so far. We’re expecting highs in the 70s, with a couple 80 degree towns in southern New England. Skies will bounce between partly and mostly cloudy during the day. A front will come through in evening or night with a spot shower, but nothing that appears widespread right now.

Temperatures will drop slightly behind the front. Still, Easter Sunday looks great with 60s and bright weather. It will be a little on the breezy side.

MARATHON MONDAY

Monday, Patriots Day and the Boston Marathon, is shaping up to be a solid day for runners and spectators alike. We’ll start off on the cool side in the 40s—great marathon conditions—and warm into the low 60s. Clouds will increase, but showers look to hold off until the night or even Tuesday morning.
