Boston 25 Weather

Temperatures back to normal

NOW PLAYING ABOVE

MORE LIKE MARCH

Those highs in the 60s Monday and Tuesday were a tease! We’re back to a typical March afternoon with highs in the 40s. The coast will be coolest thanks to an onshore breeze. A couple inland towns may come close to 50 degrees. It will stay partly sunny and dry today.

A weak disturbance will move across the region from west to east tonight with the chance for a brief snow shower or flurry. I’m not expecting anything widespread, but a couple towns could see a patchy coating. Temperatures look a little to mild overnight for any flakes to stick to the local roads, it will have a better chance dusting local lawns and parked cars.

Thursday will be seasonable cool too, with mostly cloudy skies.

FRIDAY ECLIPSE

Our forecast has some clouds around during the total lunar eclipse in the early morning hours of Friday. With some luck there will be enough gaps to see the “blood moon”. Totality will occur between 2:26 and 3:31 a.m. That’s an early alarm!

WARM WEEKEND

The forecast will turn quite mild again this weekend with highs in the 50s and 60s. We’ll have a lot of clouds around, but rain will probably hold off until late Sunday.

Heavy rain and gusty wind affect the entire area between Sunday night and Monday. A Weather Alert has been added.
