WINTRY WEATHER TO END THE WEEK
Thursday will be a cold one with temperatures in the lower teens across much of the state in the morning. Feels-like temps will be 10-15 degrees colder with a breeze too. We’ll enjoy plenty of sun, but highs generally will not get above the mid to upper 20s.
Our weather becomes more active on Friday with rain developing after the morning commute. We’re expecting rain most of the day in Boston, Worcester, and south of the Pike. The chance for a wintry mix will increase around sunset in the northern hills and southern New Hampshire. This will extend to areas just south of the Pike later in the evening. Around 1-3″ of snow can be expected in the northern hills and southern New Hampshire, with up to an inch possible though the Pike, including Boston.
WEEKEND IN VIEW
Expect a chilly weekend to follow with some snow on the ground sticking around through Sunday. High temps will generally be in the low 30s with Sunday morning lows around 10 degrees!
Our next chance for impactful weather will come Sunday evening as light snow is possible through many of the same areas once again.
