Boston 25 Weather

Wet weather slow to depart

NOW PLAYING ABOVE

DAMP CONDITIONS ON SUNDAY

Sunday will be another damp and dreary day, with some mist and generally raw conditions through the region. Temperatures will remain on the cooler side, with highs reaching the low to mid 40s. While there could be a few breaks of sun, clouds will dominate for much of the day, keeping things gloomy. On-and-off showers will be possible, with some periods of steadier rain mixed in at times, adding to the damp feel. If you’re heading out, make sure to wear something warm, and you may want to carry the umbrella just in case.

APRIL ARRIVES

Monday will bring a bit of a warm-up, with highs reaching the mid-60s, but it won’t be all sunshine. A cold front will approach during the day, bringing a few showers throughout the day. The best chance for any heavy rain will arrive after 6pm as the front proceeds east. You may hear a rumble of thunder out there too.

By Tuesday afternoon, the rain will clear out, and we’ll get a brief break with brighter skies and seasonable temperatures, topping out around 50 degrees. The temperature roller coaster will continue, and we’ll keep you updated on the shifts in the forecast as we move into the start of April.

Stay safe and enjoy the weekend, New England! And as always, keep checking back for the latest updates on air and online.
