BRIGHT START TO THE WEEK
We’re looking at a bright and breezy Sunday with seasonable temperatures with highs into the upper 40s to low 50s. Winds will be kicking up today, with gusts possibly reaching up to 40 mph at times.
Looking ahead to Monday, we’ll see more sunshine, but it will still be a bit breezy, especially during the afternoon hours. Temperatures will remain in the comfortable range, staying in the upper 40s to low 50s.
RAIN CHANCES FOR THANKSGIVING
The weather takes a turn on Tuesday as rain makes its return to the region. We’re expecting some light to moderate showers throughout the day, with up to a quarter of an inch of rain possible. If you’re commuting or running errands, be sure to bring your umbrella and plan for some wet roads.
By Wednesday, we’re back to pleasant weather with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 40s. It’ll be a great day to get outside or finish up any last-minute errands before the big Thanksgiving holiday. Traveling? The weather looks calm across most of the area, making for a smooth travel day.
As for Thanksgiving, we’re closely monitoring the potential for a storm to develop and impact New England. For Boston, it looks like we’ll see rain for much of the day, but areas to the north and west could experience a wintry mix or even snow. The good news is, the storm looks like it will move out relatively quickly, so conditions should improve by Friday. For now, it’s still a bit early to say exactly how things will unfold, so stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the holiday!
Be sure to check back with us for any weather updates leading up to Thanksgiving. We’ll keep you informed as conditions evolve.
