WINDS CONTINUE
The cold and windy weather continues today. We have another Wind Advisory for gusts 40-50 mph. Dress for a familiar chill that will have highs in the 20s and wind chills in the singles and teens. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day with occasional flurries. A patchy dusting will develop in parts of southern New England, but widespread travel impacts are highly unlikely.
FRIDAY IMPROVMENTS
We’ll finally get a break from the extreme cold and wind Friday. NW winds 10-20 mph will gust 20-30, strongest on the Outer Cape. It will be the nicest day of the week between the milder temperatures, lighter wind, and bright skies.
WEEKEND SHIFT
Cloudy skies and flurries will come through Saturday. We have enough cold for light snow, but we won’t tap into the deeper moisture from a storm will will miss us to the south. Right now it looks like a coating-1″, 2″ at most here in southern New England.
Sunday looks great with mostly sunny skies.
