WEEKEND IN VIEW

Excellent Fall weather continues. The mornings will be crisp and cool, so keep a jacket handy until 8 or 9 AM. Expect afternoon 80s with beach 70s and mostly sunny skies. Remember, most of the local beaches do not have lifeguards after Labor Day, so be careful if you’re heading to the coast. Waves around 2 feet, winds 5-10 mph, and the low risk of rip currents are in the forecast through the weekend.

WHEN WILL IT RAIN AGAIN?

A storm is expected to develop off the mid-Atlantic coastline next week. It has the potential to become a tropical cyclone. The deep moisture associated with that storm will be directed to the south and west of New England. By Thursday and Friday it may nudge into Massachusetts, but it’s arrival isn’t set in stone. We expect fluctuations in that forecast between now and then.
