WINTER CHILL IS HERE TO STAY
A winter storm will track south of us today, swinging mostly cloudy skies into Massachusetts but missing precipitation. The dry day will be chilly with highs in the upper 20s to 30 degrees. There’s a bit of a breeze, so wind chills will come into play at times.
The breeze will increase tonight. Gusts 30-40 mph will be common Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with dry and partly cloudy conditions. Wind chills will being near zero each morning and never get out of the teens in the afternoons. Brrr!
WEEKEND SHIFT
More seasonable temperature will return Friday, which means highs in the upper 30s. For now, the weekend forecast looks dry and cloudy. A storms will develop in the southeastern US and strengthen over the Atlantic Saturday night. We’ll need to monitor trends to make sure it doesn’t track closer as a nor’easter.
