CHILLY THURSDAY
It’s a cold start to the day, so make sure to bundle up as you head out the door. Temperatures are starting off in the 20s, with a few light ocean-effect snow showers or some light freezing drizzle possible along parts of the South Shore and Cape Cod this morning. If you’re traveling in these areas, watch out for some slippery spots on untreated surfaces early on, so use caution.
As we move through the day, we’ll see plenty of sunshine, but it will remain chilly. Highs will be cooler than usual for this time of year, topping out in the mid-30s. Tonight, we’re in for another cold evening, with temperatures dropping into the teens and 20s.
WEEKEND WARM UP WITH RAIN
Looking ahead to Friday, we’ll have another chilly day with highs only reaching the upper 30s, but the sun will help us feel a little better as we head into the weekend. By Saturday, we’ll start to warm up a bit, with temperatures rising to the low 40s and some light showers moving in. By Sunday, we’re looking at highs in the 50s — a welcome relief from the cold!
However, don’t put your umbrella away just yet! Rain chances will be on the rise by Sunday night into Monday, so be prepared for some wet weather to kick off the workweek.
