STILL BREEEZY
Gusts 30-40 mph will continue Friday with a mix of sun and clouds. Gusts will drop to 20-30 mph later this afternoon and through the weekend. Although wind damage won’t be an issue, that breeze will keep it blustery and chilly for much of the upcoming week.
WEEKEND IN VIEW
Temperatures will continue to drop this weekend with highs near the freezing mark. Winds stay gusty as well. It will be dry all weekend with partly cloudy skies.
A storm Sunday night to Monday is expected to miss us to the south, bringing snow from the Midwest to NJ and DC. It’s worth checking back on the forecast through the weekend as a small wobble north could bring light snow into southernmost New England. For now we don’t have any precipitation in the 7-day forecast.
NEXT WEEK
Another batch of arctic air will sink into the region next week. That means wake-up teens and afternoon highs in the upper 20s or lower 30s. It will truly feel like winter, so dress accordingly.
