CHILLY WEEKEND CONTINUES
Breezy weather and cooling temps have brought on a late winter-like feel across New England. While wind is not as strong as it was on Friday, peak gusts are still reaching 40-50 MPH on this Saturday. With high temps around 40, the feels-like temp remains in the upper 20s at best through the day and into the night.
Sunday will be a chilly one in the morning, but we’ll warm more quickly as wind becomes lighter. It will be a sunny start to the day and highs will eventually reach the low to mid 40s in the afternoon. Expect a light breeze at times, but nothing compared to days prior. Clouds will arrive later in the day and a stray snow shower will be possible in a place or two north of the Pike overnight.
MILD WEEK AHEAD!
Despite the chilly weekend weather, the upcoming work week will be much different! Highs will climb into the low to mid 50s as soon as Monday and we’ll enjoy a partly cloudy sky along with it. Tuesday will be the warmest day this week with highs in the upper 50s and a few towns may reach 60!
A northeasterly wind will suppress temps a little bit more late in the week, but we should remain warmer than average with highs generally in the 49-53 range through the remainder of the work week. No significant storms are expected this week, but activity is likely to increase in the following week.
