COLD AND BLUSTERY

It’s a cold and blustery start to the day. Wind chills are below zero early this morning, so bundle up if you’re heading out. With yesterday’s snow still around, be cautious of icy and slick spots on untreated roads and sidewalks. High temperatures today only reach the 20s, but gusty winds will make it feel more like the single digits and teens.

GRADUAL WARM UP

The chill won’t last forever. We’ll see a gradual warmup through the week as winds relax and milder air works in. By Thursday and Friday, afternoon highs rebound into the 50s, feeling much more seasonable.

NEXT STORM FRIDAY

Our next storm arrives Friday, bringing a round of rain to the region. Behind that system, colder air returns by next weekend, reminding us winter isn’t done yet.
