WEATHER ALERT

Plan on a cloudy, cooler and rainy Saturday. Highs will reach the low to mid 60s, almost 10 degrees cooler than normal! We are also monitoring coastal concerns throughout the weekend. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect due to the persistent northeast breeze, which increases the chance of flooding along east-facing coastlines. A High Surf Advisory is in effect through 7pm to account for large breaking waves up to 11 feet off the coastline. There is also a moderate to high risk for rip currents. Showers taper later tonight, but it will still be damp and dreary.

MAINLY DRY SUNDAY

Sunday will stay mostly dry, but it’s not going to be the brightest of days. Clouds linger, it will be breezy, and temperatures stay cooler with highs in the mid 60s. The autumnal (fall) equinox officially starts at 8:44 AM, happy fall y’all!

NEXT WEEK

The weather will brighten more on Monday, with some sunshine returning and highs still cool for this time of year in the mid to upper 60s. We will see a repeat in the forecast again for Tuesday.

Our next significant chance for rain will arrive Wednesday night into Thursday and Friday of next week.
