CHILLY PATTERN AHEAD

Get ready for a cold and breezy night ahead! Temperatures will dip into the 20s, well below freezing, bundle up before heading out Wednesday morning. Tomorrow will bring more sunshine, but it’ll stay cool and breezy. Expect highs in the mid 40s, which is notably cooler than usual for this time of year. While the winds won’t be as intense as they were today, it will still be breezy enough to make it feel chillier than the actual temperature. With the dry weather and gusty winds, we remain at an elevated risk for brush fires, a Red Flag Warning continues for Massachusetts through 6pm Wednesday.

Thursday looks to be another crisp and clear day, with sunshine continuing to dominate the forecast. Highs will be in the mid 40s again and the winds will be a bit lighter.

WEEKEND IN VIEW

As we move toward the weekend, temperatures are expected to warm up slightly, reaching into the 50s by Friday and Saturday. An offshore storm system will be lingering nearby, which could bring a small chance of showers or drizzle on Friday and Saturday, but the latest models suggest this is trending toward a drier forecast.

While we may see a little more cloud cover, it’s looking like we’ll end the week on a milder note with less wind, making for a more comfortable Saturday. We need the rain though!
