A cold front will come through overnight. Expect some downpours and thunderstorms into the early morning hours. Those showers may last through sunrise Tuesday, but skies will clear out from west to east by midday.
TEMPERATURE SWING
Tuesday afternoon will be seasonable and bright with highs in the lower 50s.
Wednesday will be our chilly day this week with morning 20s and afternoon 40s. Clouds will increase during the afternoon, leading to rising rain chances overnight.
Don’t be distracted by 60s in the forecast Thursday. It will be cloudy with showers at times. Rain looks to last through Friday morning, then clear out in time for the Red Sox Home Opener at Fenway Park at 2 PM with temperatures in the 60s.
