Boston 25 Weather

Wet weather on the horizon

WET WEATHER THIS WEEKEND

Friday brings plenty of sunshine with seasonable highs in the low 40s, though a brisk morning will remind us that winter is still here. Enjoy the quiet and comfortable weather before rain arrives on Saturday.

Saturday morning begins cold with lows in the 25-30 range. Despite this, rain may be falling and this means icy conditions are possible in the morning. You’ll need to take caution until we warm up in the afternoon. At this point scattered showers take over, mainly south of the Pike, eventually clearing by the evening. Sunday brings a bigger warm-up as highs climb into the low 50s, though widespread rain is expected by the evening. This rain will continue overnight and into Monday.

STEADY COOLDOWN, WET WEATHER REMAINS

Monday we’ll see rain continue, but begin to wrap up by the early afternoon. Up to an inch is possible when said & done. Luckily, it comes with mild air and highs reaching the low to mid 50s.

Tuesday offers a brief break with drier weather, though it will be slightly cooler with highs in the upper 40s. Rain chances return by Wednesday, just in time for New Year’s plans. We’re keeping an eye on this system as it may bring some mixed precipitation to areas farther north. By Thursday, cooler, drier air settles back in, and highs return to the low 40s.
