As the Patriots injury report came out Thursday afternoon, fans saw a familiar face when they saw Tom Brady and his knee injury.

Fans may have been surprised to see another big name return to the list, as tight end Rob Gronkowski was back on the injury report with ankle and back injuries.

Both Brady and Gronkowski were limited in practice Thursday afternoon, just one day after Brady returned to the injury report as a limited practice participant and Gronkowski disappeared from the report as a whole.

Brady missed practice last Friday before the team's game against the Jets, and was listed as a limited participant otherwise throughout the week. However, he did end up starting in the team's 27-13 win Sunday.

Julian Edelman remained as a full participant for the second day in a row after battling a foot injury.

The Patriots play the Vikings at home Sunday afternoon at 4:25 p.m. on Boston 25.
