Patriots legend Ty Law elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2019

Just under 17 years after he had a massive impact in the Patriots' first Super Bowl win against the Rams back in 2002, former Patriots cornerback Ty Law had himself another special weekend before Super Bowl LIII.

The Patriots legend was announced as one of the latest members heading into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, starting off an already-huge weekend for Patriots fans.

The team tweeted out the news just after 6 p.m. Saturday night, with the NFL Honors ceremony just a few hours away.

Law played with the team for 10 seasons after being drafted by the team in 1995, and was a pivotal part of numerous Patriots Super Bowl titles throughout his career.
