The Patriots are Super Bowl bound after their big win over the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Sony Michel and the Patriots running game got things going in the first half, helping to drain more than eight minutes off the clock in the first drive of the game to take a 7-0 lead.
The Patriots defense shut down and shutout the Chiefs' high-powered offense in the first half, heading into the break with a 14-0 lead.

Patrick Mahomes got the Chiefs' offensive mojo back to start the second half, with a touchdown pass to Travis Kelce to make it 14-7.
A field goal from Stephen Gostkowski and another touchdown pass from Mahomes made it a 17-14 game in the fourth quarter.
After the Chiefs made it a 21-17 game with a Damien Williams touchdown, the Patriots got one of their own with a Sony Michel touchdown run on fourth down. The Chiefs bounced back with a field goal, sending the game to overtime.

In overtime, the Patriots drove down the field after winning the coin toss, scoring a touchdown to clinch the 37-31 win.
With the victory, the Patriots advance to Super Bowl LIII to play the Rams in two weeks.

10:10 p.m.: On third down, the Patriots converted on a clutch pass to Rob Gronkowski to get into the end zone. Rex Burkhead followed it up with a 10-yard run of his own to set the Patriots up before they ended it with a touchdown to advance to the Super Bowl.
9:59 p.m.: Harrison Butker ties it up with a field goal for the Chiefs with eight seconds left to make it 31-31.
9:51 p.m.: Rex Burkhead scores to make it 31-28 with 39 seconds left!
9:39 p.m.: The Chiefs score with 2:03 to go after a pass interference call on J.C. Jackson, taking a 28-24 lead late in the fourth quarter.
9:28 p.m.: Sony Michel keeps up his momentum from this postseason, giving the Patriots the lead with 3:32 to go in a 24-21 game.
9:11 p.m.: After a call that will be debated for years whether Julian Edelman muffed a punt, he can't come up with a Tom Brady pass, leading to an interception to give the Chiefs the ball deep in Patriots territory. The Chiefs take advantage on a screen to Damien Williams to make it 21-17.
8:59 p.m.: The Patriots can't convert on a key fourth down in Chiefs territory, as Rex Burkhead comes up short to give the Chiefs the ball back on downs.
8:48 p.m.: Patrick Mahomes rolls out and delivers a dart to Damien Williams to cut the lead to 17-14 in the fourth quarter.
8:34 p.m.: The Patriots extend their lead to 17-7 in the third quarter on a 47-yard field goal from Stephen Gostkowski.
8:11 p.m.: The Chiefs find the end zone for the first time in the game, with Patrick Mahomes connecting with Travis Kelce to cut the Patriots lead to 14-7 in the third quarter.
7:54 p.m.: 14-0 Patriots lead with the Chiefs held to under 100 yards in total offense in the first half.
7:52 p.m.: A long touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Phillip Dorsett makes it a 14-0 Patriots lead with 27 seconds left in the first half.
7:35 pm.: The Patriots defense comes up in a big spot once again, with Trey Flowers delivering a huge sack in Patriots territory to force a punt for the Chiefs. Both teams have missed key chances to score in the first half.
7:14 p.m.: Tom Brady throws an interception in the end zone on 3rd and goal, giving the Chiefs the ball right back in their own territory. Patriots hold onto a 7-0 lead in the second quarter.
6:54 p.m.: Sony Michel tops off an incredible opening drive from the Patriots, finding the end zone after a drive lasting more than eight minutes to start the game with a 7-0 lead.
6:38 p.m.: The Chiefs won the coin toss and deferred, so the Patriots will start with the ball for the second week in a row in the postseason.
