Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman was reportedly fined for a hit he delivered during the team's Monday night matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
Edelman reportedly faces a $26,739 fine for unnecessary roughness after signaling for a fair catch and then blocking a Bills player on a punt, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.

The hit came in the third quarter, as Edelman hit Bills cornerback Lafayette Pitts in the face mask with his helmet after calling for the fair catch.

Edelman finished the game with nine catches for 104 yards, including a 26-yard grab.
