Just as the Patriots are reportedly finalizing a deal to land Michael Bennett from the Eagles, there may be another move on the horizon if the team wants to get back a former fan-favorite wide receiver.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Dolphins are releasing Danny Amendola, who spent a year with the team after a stint with the Patriots that included two Super Bowl wins.

Rapoport said that Amendola's team worked to keep him in Miami, but both sides made the decision for the wide receiver to head to free agency.
