ST. LOUIS — With defenseman Matt Grzelcyk still in Boston and not with his teammates in St. Louis, John Moore will start in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final for the Bruins.

Grzelcyk is recovering from a concussion, suffered on a high hit from Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist, who will also miss Game 3 due to suspension.

"As a team we've had the next-man up mentality all year," said Moore. "It's not John Moore against the St. Louis Blues. The strength of our team is how together and how close-knit this group has been. I'm just focus on coming in and doing my job and helping the team win."

Blues coach Craig Berube announced former BC Eagle and Salem native Zach Sanford will take Sundqvist's spot in the St. Louis lineup.

Robert Thomas, who missed Game 2 after a receiving a hard check from Torey Krug in Game 1, will also miss Game 3 Saturday night.
