SUDBURY, Mass. — High school football playoffs started Friday night all over the state, meaning 128 teams have opportunities to win state titles. For our High School Gameday Game of the Week, we were in Lincoln-Sudbury as the undefeated No. 3 Warriors played the Wellesley Raiders.
Lincoln-Sudbury’s offense didn’t waste any time as Riley O’Connell made a perfect throw to Jack Napier for the early touchdown to make it 7-0 Warriors (8-0).
In the second quarter, O’Connell threw across the field to Nolan O’Brien who made the tough grab for the touchdown to push the L-S lead to 14-0.

Those two connected once again in the third quarter as well. The Warriors’ defense had a great night as well with Casey King knocking the ball loose before Bobby Haarde picked it up for the touchdown to make things 28-0 Warriors.
King and Haarde combined for another defensive score on the following drive as well. A few plays after that, O’Connell took it in for the touchdown to push the score to 35-0 Warriors.
Later in the 3rd, O’Connell rolled out and found who else? Nolan O’Brien for his 3rd touchdown of the game to make it 42-0 Lincoln-Sudbury, which stood as the final score.
