HAVERHILL, Mass. — Authorities are investigating after a car was found submerged in the Merrimack River in Haverhill.
Massachusetts State Police tweeted that the car didn't have any occupants when it was found in the water, and the owner of the car was found at their home with apparent minor injuries.

The owner was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and Haverhill Police are continuing to investigate the driver.
Police say it appeared as if everyone that was in the car was accounted for.
The Massachusetts State Police Airwing and Dive Team all assisted Haverhill Police in the incident.
