AUBURN, Ala. — An Auburn photographer got a little too close to the action at a college football game Saturday night.
In the third quarter of the game against LSU, Auburn kicker Daniel Carlson boomed the ball past the end zone on a kickoff -- and right into a girl's face.

The student photographer for Auburn, Ashley Ward, attempted to catch the ball as it came down just past the end zone, but...failed.
"I was trying to catch the ball, obviously. I made this thing with the manager that I would be able to catch the ball if Daniel Carlson kicked it to me, and I obviously missed it and caught the ball with my face instead of my hands," she told WBRC. "I'm okay, just a little red."
Since she was totally okay, we feel it's okay to say...the following view is much funnier.
