Uber driver carjacked, robbed before suspects roll vehicle over in Brockton

A 62-year-old Uber driver allegedly had his car stolen before the vehicle was found at the scene of a rollover crash in Brockton, according to Brockton Police.

Police said the Brockton native walked into the lobby of the Brockton Police headquarters around 9:46 p.m. Tuesday night to report that his car was stolen by four white teenagers.

The victim told police he was an Uber driver who drove the group to Belmont Street and Warren Avenue, and said once they arrived, one of the teens pulled out a knife while another put something on the man's right side.

The man told police he was unsure if it was a gun, and the suspect allegedly told the victim to leave his cell phone and exit the car.
