BOSTON — Boston Police say two people were shot in the city's Roxbury neighborhood on Monday night.
Officials said they responded to reports of shots fired at around 9:30 p.m. in the area of the Dudley Square train station.
According to the first officer on scene, the two shooting victims sustained gunshot wounds to the leg. Police say their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
A possible suspect was seen running on foot down Zeigler Street.
No further information has been released at this time.
This incident comes just hours after a man was killed and two others were injured in nearby Jamaica Plain. Boston Police detectives are actively investigating that incident.
