Super Bowl LVI: Halftime show hits nostalgia sweet spot with viewers

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Rap and hip-hop royalty brought the sold-out crowd at SoFi Stadium to its feet during the highly anticipated Super Bowl LVI halftime show, making it easier for them to walk down memory lane.
Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg. Kendrick Lamar. Mary J. Blige. Eminem.
Social media users were aflutter, to say the least”
Even if they weren’t quite sure who was performing:
But most viewers knew exactly what was up:
The biggest surprise of the show was a surprise appearance by 50 Cent, who performed his 2003 hit “In Da Club” partially while suspended upside down.
Of course, some fans realized, perhaps a little too late, that even if they were dancing like no one was watching, somebody was:
Could the show have been better? Some fans said only one tweak would have made it so:
