R&B singer Jeremih has been hospitalized because of the coronavirus.
The 33-year-old singer, whose real name is Jeremy Phillip Felton, was taken to an intensive care unit and placed on a breathing ventilator at a Chicago hospital, TMZ first reported.
Several musicians who are friends with the “Birthday Sex” singer confirmed the diagnosis.
“Pray for my boy Jeremih, he’s not doing good,” 50 Cent said on social media.
Chance the Rapper also shared condolences on social media.
“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now,” he said.

Producer Hitmaka also confirmed the diagnosis.
“I need everyone to pray for my brother Jeremih,” he wrote on social media. “This message is posted with his mother’s blessings.”
Jeremih’s latest album, “Mih-Ty,” a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, was released in 2018, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
