SAN DIEGO — Police are investigating after one person was killed and three others were hurt in a shooting overnight in San Diego, multiple news outlets are reporting.

According to KNSD, the incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at various scenes in the Gaslamp District, including Fifth and Sixth avenues at Island Street, and Fifth Avenue near G and J streets. San Diego police arrived to find multiple shooting victims, including one who had been killed, the news outlet reported.
Three victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, where two were being treated for “major trauma,” according to KUSI. The third person’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, authorities told the news outlet.
Police have taken at least one suspect into custody in connection with the incident, KNSD reported.
