Nissan has announced the recall of 356,000 Pathfinders.
The reason?
The company said it is because the brake lights could stay on constantly if a relay gets stuck in the on position.
In addition to the lights being on all the time, the issue can limit engine power and allow drivers to shift from park without having their foot on the brake, The Associated Press reported.
The recall affects some Pathfinders in the 2013 through 2015 model years.
A previous recall for the same issue only applied to select 2013 and 2014 Pathfinders. The new recall adds the 2015 model year.
Dealers will look at the switch and move it if necessary starting in March. They will also replace the relay, the AP reported.
