ST. LOUIS — A woman in St. Louis turned the tables on two would-be carjackers when she pulled out a gun and fired at one of them.
The woman told police she had just parked her car when she was approached by two people. Police said one, who was 13, threatened her with a gun and demanded her car keys and money, according to KSDK.
The woman handed her keys to the teenager, but told police that when he was distracted, she pulled a gun out of her purse and shot him. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that police found the 13-year-old a short time later with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police are continuing to search for the second suspect.
