The happiest place on Earth is gearing up to make fans even happier. Later this month, Walt Disney World will start selling new annual passes again, according to WFTV.
“New sales of the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass and Disney Pirate Pass will resume and can be purchased online beginning on April 20,” senior manager of communications Eric Scott said in a post on the Disney Parks blog. He added that the number of passes will be limited and passes or individual pass types might become unavailable at any time.
Eligible Disney Vacation Club members will also be able to buy the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online beginning April 13, Scott said.
Disney fans who want to buy annual passes but live outside Florida are eligible to purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass only, according to Disney.
Disney paused sales of new annual passes for Disney World in November 2021, WFTV reported. Passholders at the time were allowed to continue renewing their passes.
Scott said Disney World incorporated feedback from current annual passholders to implement changes to its perks. Passholders will now get Disney PhotoPass benefits. Starting on April 18, annual passholders will also be able to visit the theme parks after 2 p.m. without a reservation, with some exceptions.
“These updates will help Passholders enjoy some of our newest Walt Disney World experiences,” Scott said.
“We are so grateful for our Passholders who have a deep, strong connection to Walt Disney World, and we are looking forward to welcoming more of you to the Annual Passholder family, just in time to experience the feelings of a Disney Thrill this spring and summer.”
