National Fast Food Day 2021: Check out the freebies and deals

Fast food aficionados, today is your day. Nov. 16 marks National Fast Food Day.

To mark the “holiday,” fast food companies are offering deals and even some free food, to celebrate.

Remember, the deals may not be available at all locations. It is best to check to see if your local restaurant is participating.

These are the deals for National Fast Food Day, compiled from USA Today and Mashable:

Wendy’s: free fries with purchase through Wendy’s app.

Del Taco: Buy one, get one combo meal with rewards registration.

Carl’s Jr.: Big Carl Small Combo for $6.29.

D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches: $4 off a $20 order with coupon code 9017.

Hardee’s: Big Hardee Small Combo for $5.49.

Papa Gino’s: $4 off a $20 order with coupon code 9016.

White Castle: Buy one, get one free combo meal or breakfast combo with a coupon from social media.

Here are other food deals compiled from USA Today and Mashable:

McDonald’s: Free quarter pounder with cheese with $1 minimum purchase through app. However, promotion is the daily deal for Tuesday, and is not specifically for National Fast Food Day. On Thursday, the chain will sell its Egg McMuffin for 63 cents when purchased through the app, in honor of the sandwich’s 50th anniversary.

Krispy Kreme: Free donut with COVID-19 vaccination card. Again, this is not specifically for National Fast Food Day and the promotion runs through the end of the year.

Pollo Campero: 22 pieces of chicken and four sides for $40.

QDOBA: Free guac and queso with any entrée.
