GRETNA, Va. — Patrons at a Dairy Queen in south-central Virginia were sharing acts of kindness in the drive-thru.
The general manager of the restaurant in Gretna said 256 drivers paid for the meal of the person behind them in the drive-thru between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday, WSET reported.
“It’s great to see the community that we have,” Janie Flick told the Chatham Star Tribune. “There are still good people left.”
Flick said she hoped the acts of kindness would continue until the restaurant closed at 10 p.m.
