VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — It looks like Santa’s helpers are taking the big man’s sleigh on a joy ride to the beach.
Actually, it’s Aaron Lawyer who has converted one of his vehicles into a custom sleigh with life-sized reindeer, WVEC reported.
Lawyer took a Jeep Grand Cherokee chassis and created the sleigh out of wood.
The sleigh started as a holiday-themed project but it has done so much more. Lawyer is using it to raise money for charities like Toys 4 Tots, the SPCA and the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, WVEC reported.
This isn’t the only custom vehicle Lawyer has come up with.
Earlier this year, he showed off a life-sized Tonka truck, The Virginian-Pilot reported.
The plumbing, HVAC and utility business owner started out collecting cars, but his collection evolved to more than 40 odd vehicles, according to the newspaper.
In addition to the sleigh and Tonka truck, he also has George Barris’s “Super Van” and 1966 Batmoblie replica.
He also started working on a replica of the Pink Panther car.
