First lady Jill Biden will undergo a “common medical procedure” on Wednesday morning, according to a statement from the White House.
President Joe Biden will accompany his wife to the appointment, according to the statement.
“Tomorrow morning, (Wednesday) the President will accompany the First Lady to an appointment for a common medical procedure at an outpatient center in Washington, DC. Afterward, the President and the First Lady will return to the White House to resume their normal schedule,” the statement read.
The White House did not provide any additional details on the first lady’s procedure. Jill Biden is scheduled to travel to Illinois next Monday with Education Secretary Miguel Cardona to visit Sauk Valley Community College.
