Drummer Zac Hanson announced Tuesday that his wife, Kate Hanson, gave birth to the couple’s fifth child on Sunday.
Zac Hanson, 35, announced the news of Quincy Joseph Thoreau Hanson’s birth on Instagram, sharing a photograph.
“I am a little late, but I celebrated #internationalwomensday the best way I know how,” the proud father wrote on Instagram, using a black-and-white photo of mother and child together. “Marveling at the superpower women are uniquely gifted ... as well as freaking out over the fact that I am now responsible to help raise another person.”
Zac Hanson, who plays for the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based band Hanson, married Kate Tucker in June 2006 after five years of dating, People reported. They also share four other children together: John Ira Shepherd, 12; Junia Rosa Ruth, 10; George Abraham Walker, 7; and Mary Lucille Diana, 4.
Zac and Kate Hanson announced their latest pregnancy news in January, according to People.
“We’re so happy and thankful for the things 2020 got right, especially this little guy coming in March,” Zac Hanson said in January. “Here’s to fresh starts and new beginnings.”
