ATLANTA — A Georgia woman was rescued Sunday after a tree fell onto her car while she was still inside it.
Atlanta Fire Rescue successfully freed the woman from her car around 8 a.m. after a tree limb narrowly missed falling onto her, WSB-TV reported.
A large oak tree and power lines fell on this car on Donald Lee Hollowell @ Eugenia Street. Firefighters, including our Heavy Rescue Unit, Squad 4, were able to successfully free the trapped woman. She was transported to the hospital with injuries. #AFRD pic.twitter.com/brfMFRPxeg

The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Firefighters said the tree almost landed on the woman’s head.
Heavy rains and winds caused by Claudette downed trees and power lines across Atlanta Sunday.
