NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Jason Allen Alexander, who was married to pop star Britney Spears for 55 hours in 2004, is accused of breaching security at Nashville International Airport on Sunday, authorities said.
Alexander, 39, was charged with attempted airport and aircraft security breach, WZTV reported, citing an arrest affidavit.
According to authorities, Alexander said he had gone through a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint on Sunday at about 6:30 p.m. CDT, and while looking for his flight, he went down an incorrect hallway that took him out of a secured area of the airport, WSMV reported.

According to an arrest affidavit, Alexander turned around and returned through the exit without going through security again, the television station reported.

Alexander made headlines in 2004 after marrying Spears, a childhood friend, on Jan. 3, 2004, in a Las Vegas chapel, People reported. The couple had the marriage annulled on Jan. 5, 55 hours after tying the knot.
