BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — An Alabama man was taken into custody Saturday after authorities found his parents shot to death in their home.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Saturday that deputies were called to a house in Spanish Fort around 1:30 p.m. Once officers arrived, they found two victims inside the house with gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say Trinell Brown, 25, went over to the home owned by his parents and confronted the couple about an ongoing family dispute, the sheriff’s office said.
Brown allegedly shot and killed both of his parents during an argument, Al.com reported.
After the shooting, Brown left the house and reportedly told witnesses that he killed his parents, authorities said, according to the news outlet.
The sheriff’s office said Brown is in custody and provided no additional information.
