Sizemore’s representative, Chris Lago, confirmed to Fox News Digital and TMZ that the actor had a brain aneurysm at his home in Los Angeles early Saturday.

“He is in the hospital,” Lago told Fox News Digital. “His family is aware of the situation and are hoping for the best.”

Lago told TMZ that someone called 911 after Sizemore collapsed around 2 a.m. He described the actor, who was hospitalized in the intensive care unit, as being in a “bad way.”

Sizemore has appeared in dozens of television shows and movies over the years, including 1994′s “Natural Born Killers” and 1995′s “Heat.” He was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2000 for his role in the HBO film “Witness Protection.”

He has struggled with substance and legal problems. He went to rehab for heroin addiction in 1998 and started doing meth in 2001, the Daily Beast reported. He was convicted in 2003 of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, the former “Hollywood madam” Heidi Fleiss, and pleaded no contest to domestic violence charges in 2017, according to Reuters and The Los Angeles Times.

From 1996 through 1999, Sizemore was married to actress Maeve Quinlan, Fox News Digital reported.
