BUENA PARK, Calif. — A drive-by shooting outside of Knott’s Berry Farm left at least one person wounded by gunfire and three others injured from the ensuing panic inside the park, investigators said.
The Buena Park Police Department said a young male was shot around 8:40 p.m., KTLA reported. His condition is unknown.
Officers are currently responding to a shooting outside of Knott’s Berry Farm. There is no active shooter. More information to follow.

Knott’s Berry Farm also confirmed a person was hurt and taken to a hospital.
“We have been made aware of an incident which took place away from Knott’s Berry Farm,” the park said on social media. “A victim was assisted by park personnel outside of the park’s gates and transported to a local hospital. The incident is currently being investigated.”

The Orange County Fire Authority said three other people were injured as they tried to leave the park, KABC reported. Their conditions are unknown.
The shooting sparked panic inside the park as visitors ran for the exits.
“Everyone was like, ‘run, run, run!’ Everybody started panicking,” Melody Padilla told KABC. “Kids are getting lost. It was scary because we didn’t know what was going on.”
No arrests have been made. Suspect information has not been released.
