CLEVELAND — Conservative host and political commentator Laura Ingraham raised eyebrows when she made a gesture that many tweeted resembled a Nazi salute.
At day three of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, Wednesday, Ingraham spoke of giving the power back to the people and called on the media to do their jobs, all while calling out public officials who "don't respect or enforce the rule of law," specifically calling out presumed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Ingraham closed her speech by raising her hand to wave at the crowd, but she kept her arm straight, making her gesture look like similar to a Nazi salute.
It's possible Ingraham noticed what she was doing and bent her arm in response, but the screenshots were already taken and GIFs had already been made:

NewsOne reported that Ingraham's response was terse with words and heavy on pictures of Hillary Clinton:
Hey thanks...I take the left-wing "gesture" of desperation to be a HUGE compliment. https://t.co/DTkGUUO8WK
