If you are headed home for the Thanksgiving holiday and you are traveling by air, there is a website that will alert you to any trouble spots you might find along your route.
The flight-tracking site FlightAware keeps up with delayed or canceled flights and any slowdowns at major airports around the world.
On Wednesday, the busiest travel day of the year, strong winds and record snowfall have canceled or delayed hundreds of flights across the Midwest. For a time on Tuesday, there was a ground stop at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport due to storm conditions.
Nearly 1,200 international and domestic flights in the United States were delayed and 103 have been canceled as of Wednesday at noon.
