According to WPLG-TV, Miami Gardens police arrested Noel Chambers, 57, about 6 p.m. Tuesday in connection with the deaths of his wife, Lorrice Harris, and 10-year-old daughter, Shayla Chambers.
Police believe Chambers attacked the pair and a second daughter, Shanalee Chambers, 29, with a machete at their Miami Gardens apartment Saturday, the station reported. The elder daughter was hurt but survived the attack, authorities said.
Harris, who died days before her 49th birthday, recently had told Chambers that she wanted a divorce, WTVJ reported.
