ST. LOUIS — A baby girl born at 7:11 p.m., July 11 and weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces, will have at least $7,111 of college tuition covered after convenience store 7-Eleven awarded the newborn a scholarship this week.
The convenience store pledged the money to a college fund setup for J'Aime Brown, CNN reported.
"I was completely shocked," mother Rachel Langford told CNN. "I kind of just freaked out."
Officials with 7-Eleven had previously given the family a gift basket filled with diapers, onesies and other gifts.
No other way to celebrate a one-in-a-million 7-Eleven baby! Welcome to the world, J’aime Brown! She truly is our #LadyLucky 💕✨” https://t.co/xG5Rk8bm1K
