Columbia Gas responded for a suspected gas leak in a roadway in Medfield, the town's police department said.
Medfield Police tweeted that Columbia Gas was working in the area of Harding Street by Hickory Drive for a suspected gas leak.

Drivers were detoured through Evergreen Way and Longmeadow Road as crews worked on the suspected leak.

Police advised drivers to find alternate routes around the area during the incident.
